Maria DeJesus Miranda, "Angelita" 56, passed on May 4th in Brooklyn NY after an illness.
Born in Praia, Cape Verde, she was the daughter of the late Lila Tavares and Pedrinho Vaz Miranda.
She had been employed as a Registered Nurse for over 20 years.
She is survived by two sons, Jackson Gomes and Angelo Gomes, two sisters Ducha Miranda and Paula Tavares, three nieces, Jessica, Sarah, Myrian and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 9am until Noon in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln, RI.
Services will also be held at the Casa Funeraria de Praia at time and day to be announced. Burial will be held at Cemeterio da Varzea, Praia, Cape Verde.
